Has the battery life of your handheld drastically decreased? Or is your battery looking puffed up and swollen?
It might be time to replace your battery.
Please read below to verify this is the case.
Bloating / Expanding Battery
The first step is to verify your battery is safe to use.
Failing any of these questions, you should look into battery replacement, skipping the next steps.
Do make sure to safely dispose of your battery. See IFixit's guide
1. Is my device starting to expand or have a buldge?
2. Is my battery able to easily spin when spun on a flat surface for an extended period of time?
3. My battery has a buldge/ bump anywhere?
Jumpstart Method
Is your charging LED turning on, but turns off after a few seconds or flashing?
If so, it may be able to be jumpstarted, see [JumpStart Guide] to details.
